from the dark side - week 17
WOW....
1. what a weekend/holiday. vader had a bunch going on and it all was good. elaboration not required beyond baseball, construction, gardening, tub of water opening, doing some swimming with m4s's, eating, some libation, the traditional barely controlled chaos, etc..etc..
2. saw rhertzer at the park, talked some engines/mechanical
3. went to bed knowing work was going to gear up again and, not looking forward to several things...first and most irritatingly, the drive to work and the plethora of donkeys on the asphalt.
all of the typical was there and a bit more...had to fill up on gas...$60 to start the wonderful morning off. got stuck behind one of those freaking idiots that do not have any idea whatsoever as to how to merge into highway traffic thus affecting ME and numerous other folks ability to merge correctly as well because the entire pack of merging cars has been slowed down dramatically by one huge freaking donkey-head. I have often wanted a james bond type of car in these situations to shoot a little missile and blow the car up into smithereens (sp).
Semi's just pulling right in front of you with little regard to the fact that you are there and could easily be killed by this situation. without elaboration...vader knows very well and is lucky to be typing due to this syndrome.
just sitting in the fast land with no one in front or on the side of you. vader has decided to adopt the german style of driving in this situation. i come right up on the car and sit as close as possible to the bumber of the car stradding the white line if necessary to gain attention. lights. horn. etc. until the bastard moves over. i won't go around anymore. (plus it is illegal to sit in the left hand lane with no reason, but nearly everything I am doing is illegal as well so it is a wash)
turnsignals...don't exist
cutting corners off when you are making a turn...this really chaffes vader and has on occasion lead to serious thought about stopping where I am entitled to stop thus forcing a situation where the other car will look like it hit me on my side of the road.
bottom line the relaxed, gorgeous nature of the weekend was rudely ended by the morning commute...cash, rudeness, stupidness, dangerousness, etc..........
4. vader promised himself no blogging from Friday around noonish until today...not even checking in. what the hell transpired with some of the blogging women? it seems something did. let vader say that he appreciates friends....he is happy in his life and is always open to adding to the "circle of trust". only from first impression based on what i have read this morning and perhaps completely wrong...take it easy on meine freundin suzyq and eachother.

Driving sucks. That is why they invented limos.
now well and good with suzyq and chanel if that is what you are referring too.
~* chanel *~
Just thought I would throw that out there. It is a false statement. I am just Angry.
and have a beer.
Welkumme back 2 blog_land ... I want 2 start on a positive note since this virtual Monday is the pits 4 all, so it would seem ... by the sounds of it, U spent good time w/ all of your family ... this is nice, this is good, this, as I know that U know, is the wisest of investments in your 4 sons. Et aussi, j'adore juste, the turn of phrase, but even more so, all that encompasses ~'circle of trust'~ that U wrote of ... tres bien (very nice)!
But, oh mon cher ami, I so, so do *not* like the aggressive driving that U have described & I abhor tailgaters!!! And I have been both 'nearly' sent early 2 heaven by some *very* aggressive truck drivers … but also saved by these warriors of the road. There was also a time several years back that I was on my way home & driving south on 79 ... & a convoy of them, quite literally, probably saved me from certain wipe out ...How? I was doing 70 mph, keeping time w/ all these semi’s that seemed 2 B here there & everywhere … letting them pass when they wanted, etc… then there was a small incline & so there seemed 2 be no trucks in front of me ... but then seemingly out of nowhere appeared a really huge black SUV & driving that SUV was a very, very aggressive driver who was going very, very fast (over 85+ & pushing faster) ....very quickly he was right on my tail & as there were semi's on all sides except in front , & I had no (other) option but 2 go faster & faster ... now this convoy of semi’s must have been talking 2 one another because suddenly a window 4 me 2 drop in the left lane in front of one semi & behind another seemed 2 miraculously open & Mister Aggressive Driver Man zoomed on ahead thinking he was the victor … speeding & weaving between the semis far, far ahead ... & then I watched with utter amazement & absolute delicious delight as these huge trucks surrounded Mr. Aggressive Driver Man .... & set him 2 a crawl … oh that was *sweet* justice!!
So, R U, mes quartre fils, admitting 2 taking part in this style of aggressive driving -- German though it may be? Oh, mein freund, say it is not so...
~Faith
PS I beg 4giveness wrt misuse of the German language in this post 2 U... I admit 2 using Google 4 the words I have written... so, should U have a question because I have used them incorrectly, pls ask, ja?
PPS And since I am ‘learning’ German, one good turn deserves another, oui? So, as 4 mon Francais ... peut-être, U could make use of this useful site: http://ets.freetranslation.com/, d'accord?? :=)
PPPS Had a *very* unusual Memorial Day Weekend ... & am working on a blog…. But, alas, I am not gifted in the terse that U other bloggers R … oh, couldn't help but think of U upon hearing that director Sydney Pollack passed away … among his many movies was, “Tootsie” … yet another movie I have never seen!! LOL But I have seen “The Firm”, “Out of Africa” “Absence of Malice” (well most of it), & “Three Days of the Condor” (yes, R we surprised!?!), “Jeremiah Johnson” but have also never seen “The Way We Were” …
Ok, I had to say that...Sorry!!! :))))
~* chanel *~
glad you're back, not the 'same' &&*wi/o*% you...did i do that correctly?
~* chanel *~
Why whatever do U mean?
~Faith
PS LOL
have no idea what i mean, just glad you're back... :)
~* chanel *~
faithyq......i like it and am sticking with it.
I am working on the french translation and have to admit it draws the investigative side of vader out. pacopgirl would do well to have my services.
I must admit also that curiousity has always been a big-time motivator for the dark lord as well...that is why it is driving me insane to not know the details surrounding recent postings from my comrades.
I am surprised about the movies faithyq. especially 3 days of the condor. i have to admit to the entire male world that i did see tootsie and actually liked it a little (a 'little' dudes so take it easy)
speed, racer X and m4s are brothers. the shep thinks he is amongst that particular crowd...speed and racer X that is, but he is actually chim-chim or maybe trixie. i know it will disappoint some but i am emerson of 79 and 279 and helio of the dance floor...not.
hertzer talks a good game about cars in his post...the old 'machines' were in many cases works of mechanical art. real duals, monster v-8 4-barrels, keys (to tl's liking), full-size spare with a real jack and tire iron, no "please lets consider the environment" power-robbing smog equipment, no fancy covers and shields and a squished together engine compartment making it nearly impossible for the home-garage-mechanic to do a damn thing himself, i could go on and on
finally, blogosphere 2 should happen soon...perhaps an outdoor venue...many of the posters are coming back out of the woodwork and before football season starts (i know you might say..."man thats a long way off", we all know the world revolves around the greatest game and time moves quickly from one seasonn to the next and...what the hell am i saying??....) we should do it again soon. hair flip x 3....
finally again.....cell phone picture quality is pretty bad? agree? perhaps just a little better than the pa licensce center photograph quality. any opinions??
Hybrids & the like … hmmm... this will be a challenge 2 find a hybrid 4 U that somehow encompasses the set of = min {M4S, 1st &/or 2nd names &/or the myriad of nicknames 4 each, that of being Vader, that of being all things of & from ‘The Dark Side’, that of Engineer, that of Irishman, that of all things sports related, along w/ the coaching of, oh & yes, that of the German ‘slant’,... Yes, some serious thought 4 your hybrid, n'est pas? … & the rest of this message full of codes, I shall hopefully have time to address this today; but.... now, not later … this spec cell phone pic U ref – Mr. T, it should be deleted X 3 - Sofort!! ... & no hair flips in the foreseeable future if the deleting of said pic isn’t Sofort. TM'O … this pic, do U honestly find it deserving of preserving? I think not, & it deserves Löschen Sie – tout de suite, avec l'imminence!!! Et so, if this U will do so (that of deleting X 3) ... then I will be tres grateful 2 vous....
Now 2 the issue of driver's license pictures & their said quality... this depends much upon which PA license center one goes 2 (& it is always the same that I find I have found myself at each & every year) & of course it depends upon the day of the week (left 2 the reader as 2 why this is relevant 2 the quality of one’s driver’s license picture …) & also the time of the day … & yes, adding 2gether w/ the above.. an important factor is who is taking the picture … that would be which PA license center photographer one gets (& truly this is a mixed bag – sometimes – sometimes not ... 4 at times I have had the luck O’ my Irish … & alas other times not; mais (one translation per post, Ty4 (no hybrid yet has struck my fancy thus far … but I do not give in or give up … where would one get in life if that was one’s attitude – so like most things in life … I simply say, “c'est la vie” & try again :-)... oh yes, mais = but)….
Blog_II... Ah, so much more (we each have) 2 tell, yes? And so very much more (4 each) 2 hear.... & so TMO (2 much like that icky TMZ thingie), could U be called on2 perhaps persuade Paprr 2 join in the fun at the II? Shep 2 but of course, if he is permitted (LOL – that ought 2 get his flock up!) ... & who pray tell is this Speed & Racer X that U made mention of... who TX4, (really) R these others ... M4ST (not one of these hybrids seems 2 capture M4S & the other fellow U R), R they truly, truly brothers 2 thee ... or R they brothers (nonetheless, but) of your exclusive yet so very Wunderbar 'Circle of Trust'? Oh yes, mein freund, a question, this Circle, is it one of exclusivity, only those of the male persuasion R admitted, is this the case?
~Faith
PS Blogsphere II ... The sequel :-) ... yes, oui, ja -- I do agree, it should be soon, & I do also agree, it should be an outdoor venue.... this & much else we do agree on, no? If not an outdoor venue than at a minimum an indoor sport … billiards perhaps (no I do not own my own cue, but do have some experience in this particular leisure time) & it goes well w/ beer, yes?
PPS And w/ each word that I have penned that ends in a long “E”, it simply feels that I should follow w/ your nickname that starts with a “T” … ah … mon Dieu… such a dilemma these hybrids have become 4 moi!
aber sie sprechen francias sehr gut, ja?
code-speak is going well aber paragraph 1 is perhaps 2 undressed concerning possible code names such that code is lost entirely and easily outs vader to the wider blogosphere. you hit bullseye care of the phonebook and previous discussions unfortunatley, ich habe nicht ihre loesen nahme OR ich vergessen es. suzyq only.
speed, racer x clearly must be other video related items on your unbucket list. speed ___ and his brother unbeknownst to him ____ Racer. chim-chim..monkey...trixie wannabe girlfriend. emerson...indy/f1, helio...f1 and DWTS winner season 6 (or 5?). vader, nicht so gut concerning the second part but would like to learn someday with m4f's lighter side (usually adding light to the darkness.
circle occasionally opens but has typically been tough to keep open for long. very full with blood line but 'always' open for a few more select individuals (hair flips typically OK, glasses real good).
paprr, shep, hertz need to make presence at blog 2, regardless, it should happen. the triangle of orbs is a good idea...there is one at the original location for blogosphere 1 before being mysteriously changed in locales due to possible infiltration (happened anyways). until then....the picture stays on chip! cu
~the dark one~
If U caught what I put up ... good, but I didn't want 2 leave it up & if someone posted 2 it, I then lose the window 2 edit & 'delete' ... will try 2 interpret yours above; am hoping that all is okay ... mine was not meant 2 illuminate anything that wasn't already out & about ... my apologies if I did so...
~Faith
PS Hope this makes sense -- it being in our common language, that of Inglés!
keine problem. sprechen english mit du later.
I am glad ... again ... my apologies 4 my thoughtlessness ... U could opt 2 delete the entire blog; first preserving, via cutting & pasting your original blog ... then repost it ... but alas doing so, will also delete all posts 2 the original blog ... both the 'good' & the 'bad' ... I will be much more careful in the future, 'K?
~Faith
PS One more plea 4 the deletion of the pic... never hurts 2 ask, yes?
Is your intention to confuse everyone here? I can't follow anything you both are saying. I know I'm blonde, but I'm not dumb.
~* chanel *~
U never answered my huh question ... (see below this post which is below your post)... I'm hurt ... even e-people have e-feelings, yes?
~Faith
PS Though it was not my original intent 2 confuse ... I'm thinking confusing & being lost R similar ... & as *they* say (whoever those know-it-all people R) misery loves company ... LOL
I think some people were really interested for some reason(?) in some girl blog banter ...(I think it was a guy who really was interested in the details), but I have really been refraining from giving any details of girl sh*t. So I just keep saying 'all is cool' , 'all is good', 'it's over johnny'....
~* chanel *~
I am lost -- completely in the dark ....
~Faith
PS There is always the private email from you to me to explain, no?
Maybe if we had our pics on a cell phone & would do the hair flip and wear glasses (acording to 4s) we would comprehend what is being said. Feeling left out and unappreciated. Do you think they could do some writing in English or Italian. :)
Si beutiful donna. Non possiamo lasciare che fuori, dove è ora la salsa?
Love,
AM/ Coomey
You are a Beotch! I don't know if I like you anymore because I wear glasses and have no hair to flip!
LMAO!! You love me and you know it.
As far as the comrade issues, in the words of slim shady, 'it's over johnny', get it?

~Faith
PS I'm lost but that isn't a new phenomenon, is it?
So, blew out the side wall today...no biggie. Pull over, swear a few times and start getting out the tools, including the little baby spare tire. Anyway, one of the worst trends in autos is the advent of the child like tire iron. Even with my strength of ten Titan Lees, busting the seal on those lugs with what amounts to a pair of kids pliers is a b**ch. Give me a tire iron that doubles as a window smasher for the drivers M4S mentions above. Give me one that I can weild with menacing rage. And please, give me one that I can loosen lugs without grinding my knuckes on the ground.
check your email wrt to booting out today...lol
~* chanel *~
HF, Do U have 'The Club' -- I imagine not since the experience U describe mentions a tire iron akin 2 kiddie pliers -- so U more than likely have one of the new fangled beeper lock/unlock thingie bobbers ... & though insurance companies give discounts 4 these "awesome theft deterrents", *not* ... give me my Club any day of the week. It seems that it could be useful 4 so many things (LOL) ... including the aforementioned something 2 "wield w/ menacing rage”! I tell U it is those tailgaters ... & I do *not* mean the partying kind either ... these types simply bring out the very worst in me!!
~Faith
PS Bummer about having a flat ... had 3 of them in the 1st month I drove & didn't change a single one of them (TL, wherever U R: hair flip X 2) & haven't had one since ... now watch over the next few days, I'll be posting that I got a flat tire ... the 1st time in N years ... but betch'a I won't have 2 change it (hair flip X 2) LOL
Surely this post was meant as an early Christmas present to me.
Next time, don't buy a pink Yugo and you won't get the wimpy jack.
Real men lift the car with their left hand 8-10 inches off the ground, while ripping the tire off with their right hand. A "real man's" spare is put on and duct tape is used to replace the lug nuts that were destroyed when the tire was torn off. Total time--8 seconds. Real men then drive the car through the front door of the local Goodyear and demand four new tires for free. Why do we do this? Because we can, that's why.
So take care of the scraped knuckles girly-boy. I hope they don't make your manicured nails look bad.
WElcome back to the blog and as usual lmfao....
wtf have you been?
~* chanel *~
My hands are too big for those tools. But big things have always been both a problem and as asset. Did you jump when I hit the car alarm button today?
Out of curiosity - can you confirm that by changing the flat yourself you were adhering to the additional man law that says even though you have a family membership to AAA it's not to be used by dudes - it's for the wife and kids - please confirm.
PS: that man law is found right after the one that says you can, under no circumstances, stop to ask for directions when lost - currently modified for todays technology to include no pressing the on star button for tutn by turn directions until you have spent at least 2 hours and 5 gallons of gas trying to find it yourself.........
May I call you that? Where the hell you been?
or Balls - but only if you really mean it. Been in Europe - have a bunch of English papers I bought for you....
does not need his hands to jack the car up 8 to ten inches off of the ground.
~* chanel *~
That is what men are for-empty garbage, wash the cars ,clean up dog crap in the yard, change flat tires.
I can't even comment this is way to funny. Damn cops never around when you need them...lol
How nice to be back with everyone, being humorous ( ok i tried to spell that 3 times hopefully it's correct) and just having fun with us!!!!!
~* chanel *~
That's a tire wrench that you should carry in your trunk, for you perverts that were hoping I was talking about something else.
You should always check the torque on the lug nuts after changing a tire or having the shop do any work.
Having someone over-torque your lug nuts is never good, can't get them off after such a thing happens.
why do you have to make me laugh so hard when i'm at work!!!
~* chanel *~
Who can't you get off of your lug nuts? Can I be of assistance? I have AAA.
I am still fond of the handless jack.
The trunk monkey! It works all the time.
Drove the old car up to the park for baseball on Sunday. My kid didn't get the whole idea that the door doesn't open before you get there, that you actually have to put a key in the lock to get in. Or that you have to push the lock button down then hold the door button when closing to lock the door. Same thing on the trunk - you get in with a KEY.
The good old days, when you put gas in behind the license plate and had a bumper jack, and a spare tire that was right there in the trunk, staring back at you every time you were in it. That along with a V8 with a 4 barrel carb sitting on the manifold, and dual real dual exhaust all the way to the back of the car, not some fake duals running through a single catalytic converter.
I don't remember your age, & I'm 2 lazy 2 look back at Vader's research 2 unearth it ... but I saw your "Old Days" & that Chicago song came right 2 mind ...
~Faith
PS Thanks 4 the memories !! LOL
R there any places w/ billards around?
~Faith
PS this is wrt blog 2
hey.......there is a table at the deck house in the back bar. it would not be a bad place to have a blogosphere or whatever for the cgb.
i am just now catching up and it seems 2 me that some bloggers are pissed at code-speak that we were yousing? true? should be false...
I don't think so, I just don't read it...too much effort to go to translation.com. Like I said last night, get a private chat, so you both can 'code' away....haha..what time did you both go to bed, uh i mean sleep anyway?...I mean it was 1:30 a.m. when i left the chat.
