A Few Things
The Shep is swamped at work. I swear I have 11 jobs rolled into one. Somebodhy must do it and The Shepard is getting it done for the betterment of everyone.
Next, I am now offically vexxed about our oil situation. The Shep researched the situation and it turns out that we import the vast majority of our oil from our neighboor, the Canucks, not the Middle Easterners many think. This intrigued The Shep. It seems that we have two robust oil fields buried under Montana and North Dakota and the Canuks are drilling at a 45 angle under our border to tap it. Smart you might say. Why aren't we you might say as well. The Shep doesn't have this answer. I do believe gas will hit $5.50 before 2009. My sources at Exxon, Standard and BP tell me the same. You heard it here. Time to downsize in all aspects people. Follow The Shep.
Next, I could care less about then vs. now. The past is over folks. It never will be again, so embrace change, accept it and learn to roll with it. You're cheese has moved and you better find it.
Next, where are the global warming morons now? This month has stunk. Warm this.
Next, I said three years ago Herferd and Hops wouldn't last. It's over, Johnny. It's over!!!
Next, as for Johnny, he is never over. Afterall, they drew first blood.

PS Word 2 the wise … doing the clear command in the chat room does *not* always 'work'; if cookies R left behind by any participant, the command will appear to execute as expected (i.e., 2 clear the room & hence the chat - leaving the screen blank), but if 1 or more users' cookies R set or not released … then entire chats remain 4 the next individual who enters the chat room.
PPS BlogHog – I hope I did not offend U w/ the hogwash comment but upon looking up its definition – it aptly applied…

A debate suggests 2 sides ... so perhaps U might gently remind me of what I did &/or said that has provoked some of yours’ & others recent commentary. Frankly, I have been a bit hurt & taken back by some of the things that you & some (not all) of the lady bloggers have written in "their own code" wrt my posts ... I do not feel that I have struck out at anyone ... but there R a small group who seem 2 feel the need 2 imply, make use of innuendo, or be point blank w/ comments wrt me.
Frankly, it feels pretty high school 2 me. In reviewing my blogs & posts, I do not see that I have been unkind; if U see this differently please let me know. I have tried & will continue 2 strive 2 blog & post w/ others in mind. But, after several days of doing what I was taught, not reacting, ignoring, etc… I wanted 2 address what seems 2 be, perhaps not, I hope not, a mini escalation of sorts …
Having met one another in person, the concept of anonymity loses some of what it once was ... even & especially on this blog - but/& this is a public blog, & a small town, & rumor & innuendo can & sometimes do become hurtful 2 more than just those on this blog.

PS Rumors & gossip murder souls ... if that seems overstated ... it isn't. If U cannot relate, then count yourself very fortunate 2 have come this far in life w/o experiencing the damage a single rumor can have, on one person, on one marriage, on one family ... I think U understand what I am communicating.
One other thing that just occurred to me as I was stewing about your post. I have never been interested enough to go and figure out how to bring up a chat once it has been cleared. Obviously when you go to a chat and someone clears the room, it means that whatever was being said is none of my business. I don't care what people have said, even if it is about me. So by going back to read what others have 'said' and are 'talking about' is being a little paranoid and insecure in my eyes. Definately not my style.
I'm not going there. I don't say anything I don't 'mean', except for the above post about you know who. You have my number, call me and we can 'chat' to maybe 'clear' things up.
I'm feeling like a 'mean girl', so I will leave it on that note.
