I don't know who the author of this is but I like what it says.
Before the child is born
A mother's love begins
Before the child is born
And lasts through time
And difficulties
And differences
And many wounds
And days of joy
And days of sorrow
Winding, wearing
Weeping, sharing
Changing
Until, at the end
What remains
Is that solid core
That began as love
Before the child was born.

You gotta love a holiday that suckers guys into buying you jewelry and flowers.
making you mimosas for breakfast, thinking he might get lucky.

Time to fire back for the guys.. Luck has nothing to do with it - it's just our way of making you feel good about doing the laundry and cleaning the bathrooms. If we don't make sure you know we find you desirable now and then how on earth can we expect you to do the dirty work week after week.
And please - for any guy that even thinks about posting how often he does the laundry and cleans the bathrooms you obviously haven't been married 5 years or longer or you're full of crap. We only do that stuff until we figure out we don't have to.
Finally Angry Mom - we're not suckers for jewlerey and flowers - it's just the easiest thing to pick up the night before or morning of - kind of the dummies guide to Mothers day for wives and girlfriends. Now shut up and get naked or get out there and cut the grass - your choice!
