So, how does the YC think Bill did last night? I personally cannot stand watching him, Aretha Franklin put it best, “He’s a liar, & He’s a cheat!!” So instead of listening, I found the transcript of his speech, have only scanned it & well BG591, just what I’ve read thus far, this is specifically *why* the liberals continue 2 love him. I am not convinced that he had much 2 do w/ the actually writing of it – but that is a moot point when it comes 2 Mr. Bill … as it is all in the delivery, Bill’s delivery. Bill’s little ‘joke’ at the outset of his speech saying that Hillary was a tough act 2 follow, I don’t buy that either … Bill is the consummate NARCISSIST, he quite literally rivals Narcissus, the original. The Clinton strategists had Hillary do her speech 1st so that the Billary speech writers could then congregate & have 24 hours 2 do what *had* 2 B done 2 Bill’s (follow-up) speech -- the all important damage control – which was essentially what his speech was, he mentioned Obama no less than 15 TIMES!!
As 2 the ‘historic’ suspension of the droning of the delegate count by none other than Hillary herself (thus enabling Obama 2 B nominated by acclamation) … this was def choreographed to the Nth … & this bit of info was out & about in the public domain far in advance of the Democratic convention even commencing. & the only historic event was that Love Train thing they had going on (as Hoops & Yoyo R fond of saying) … Remember that Obama is *not* the 1st African American presidential anything … Bill was the 1st black president, remember?
Below R subject lines from the democraticunderground … I found them 2 B of mild interest, certainly of an expected tone, & there is an obvious Republican post. It appears from this *very* small sampling that Kerry won the GOLD, Biden won the SILVER, & Bill C. won only the BRONZE … & so I do plan on reading the actual comments, but haven’t yet had my all important 2nd cup of java yet …

PS I see that Bill opted 2 wear black; this fits, as he is in mourning & I suspect will be 4 quite some time. After all, when Hillary’s mad, Bill is sad, since he’s not allowed 2 go out & ‘play’… but my guess is that we might see Bill out & about as early as this Halloween. Look 4 a picture of him dressed in Hillary’s pumpkin orange pants suit on the front of the National Enquirer, doing his ogling, leering & groping thing w/ some 22 yr old who is dressed as Michelle Obama … LOL
PPS News flash – MSNBC … Barak’s acceptance speech 2night will speak about his “feeling our pain” … where, oh where have we heard *that* B4?

The other day you said that you would like to debate with a Democrat who didn't just spout the same old song....and here you've blogged what Democrats typically hear from Republicans. You dislike Clinton and therefore negate and self-analyze everything he says. What he did was disgracful and a lie. But lying about WMD and having thousands of American soldiers killed in a country that was not responsible for the 9/11 attacks? People need to get off the "lying" ballad, because there really is no comparison with these 2 lies. I am, personally, far more hurt by the second one. I believe that worldwide, so was our country.
Was your/this post (All the same song) directed 2 me? If so, I am confused -- can U be specific as 2 what I said where on this blog.

I would like to hear some feedback from those (mostly Democrats, I would imagine) who are/were against the war. Those who would have wanted a President that would not have started this war on terror. Where do you think we would be today if we had not started this war? If Saddam were still in power? If we did not ever succeed in empowering the women and children of Afghanistan? Where would we be if Kerry or Barrack were President the last 4 or even 8 years?

watching Clinton that he has the biggest sense of self worth and entitlement you've ever seen - and no sense of shame or regret for the disgrace he brought to the Oval office? Do you think that sense of entitlement carries over to everyone he has "touched" - such as the CMU prof. in the news yesterday (the former Clinton staffer who keeps driving drunk even though he has 3 DUI's this month?). Maybe I'm out of touch but I just don't get the support for this impeached former president - he gives me the creeps.

A few months ago there was a blog on here regarding Bill Clinton. HF made the comment that he would be honored to shake Clinton's hand. That "honor" is usually used as a means to show respect. Unlike someone like Jimmy Carter, who didn't have a clue what he was doing, or someone like GW Bush, who is too stupid to know what he is doing, Clinton made a mockery of the office and acted like he was auditioning for the remake of "Animal House".
Keith Olberman of MSNBC, made the comment when Hillary was talking Tuesday, that he loved watching Bill Clinton's face when he was listening to someone. This is a "serious" journalist, telling us that he loves watching another man's facial expressions when he is listening to someone talk. That's sick. Really sick.
This isn't just about the Democrats, it's also about the Republicans and these conventions. Watching them is like watching curling during the winter Olympics. I have no idea why I watch, but I do. Couple of observations:
1) Why are these idiots laughing and clapping and cheering and crying and acting like they just won the Powerball? The only other time I've seen people act like this, is when a beer truck wrecked in front of our house in college and 6 kegs of beer rolled into our front yard. At least our joy was honest and legit.
2) Are there any other qualifications for being a delegate other than being really, really ugly?
3) Are these conventions to nominate someone for President, or are they really Amway meetings?
4) Those were real tears rolling down my face during Bill Clinton's speech. Putting my foot through the TV screen probably wasn't too smart.
1) They have signs that tell them when to clap. They need to read it, just like Obama needs a script~!
2) We repubs are hot! You only need to be ugly to be a dem delegate. And the only other requirement is you have to have done Bill in the Lincoln Bedroom.
3) They are actually Scientology meetings. Unless Madonna shows up. Then it is Kaballah.

How about the "Average Joe" speeches this evening? Seemingly very sincere - but we must wonder who REALLY wrote those scripts. Then the three reporters (afterwards) exclaiming how absolutely wonderful these average joe speakers were. And they were - but don't insult my intelligence by trying to make me believe that these folks wrote their own speeches or that they weren't coached for weeks.
Democrats have chosen to forget what a mockery WJC made of the Office of the President. What a role model!

I'm not committed to a political party. There are only a few policticians that I like listening to. Guess it is how they deliver their information and keep my interest. Have to say with George Bush I usually get uninterested pretty fast. I watched some of the speakers at the convention and turned to another channel. But I do listen to the Clintons. I think they are both great speakers and when they talk I actually am interested in what they have to say.
My dad always told me how can you tell a politician is lying their lips our moving. How could you like the Clintons one is a liar and the other says one thing and then when she loses she says another. Makes no sense to me. These are proven facts not made up. They are not great speakers they are just great bull*hitters. Glad your so interested in the BS garbage they put out.

PS True story – I was @ our local Wally Mart ~10 PM a couple weeks back w/ my tween. We went 2 one of the few lines open & got behind these 2 guys who I’d say were in their early 40's. One was in the process of purchasing & paying 4 whatever he was buying, & the other was holding 2 CD’s. I am taking stuff out of my cart thinking abt, as CT blogged on not long ago, why I had 2 wait at all when there were ~ a bazillion empty useless registers doing nothing at all, & as I am thinking this, I can hear these 2 guys talking … what caught my ear & dragged me out of my reverie, wasn't *what* they were saying, but that they were speaking w/ very strong, distinct Swedish accents. & as I was done emptying my cart, I looked up 2 see the 1st Swede standing off 2 the side having finished his transaction & the 2nd in the process of buying the 2 CD's I'd seen him holding... when I saw what they were, it was so cliché that I seriously had 2 do a double take -- why, well they were none other than not one but 2 ABBA CD’s ... I’m guessing they were perhaps diplomatic visitors who 4got their ABBA albums back home??

Well finally understanding a blog Faith wrote I actually got a laugh out of that. I use to listen to that when I was alot younger you know then I am now with my cousin. It was good music.

I agree w/ your "interpretation" of the Democrat's recent speeches...so true, huh? I also believe, however, that McCain and his supporters will give "similar" speeches in the coming days..."that's politics" - and that's why I despise it so much. (One of those love/hate things I guess.)
Republican, Democrat or other - they ALL spin everything so that America is literally dizzy. Dizzy, confused, and gullible may describe many Americans when it comes to politics and who/what to belive in and who to vote for. It's nothing more than a popularity contest and who can spin faster than the other guy.
I will vote Republican as their political views/platforms are those that I agree with, etc...
I'd be more likely to vote for ANY or EITHER side if one would stop wasting so much time, money, effort on their spins and lies they call advertising.
