Volunteer Opportunity! Community Service Help Needed!
The St. Ferdinand Church – Annual Family Festival – White Elephant crew is looking for help with sorting donations and setting up the annual White Elephant Sale. Hours of service are flexible; no full-time or full-shift hours required. What time you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Teens in need of community service for that merit award or college application can earn hours HERE! We will sign your service forms!
Be prepared to work hard & have some fun during the times and at the address provided. Come join our delightful crew! You will be rewarded with helping your community and meeting new friends.
St. Ferdinand Church – Education Building, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township - HOURS: daytime: M-W-F 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM - evenings: T-Th 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM - ask for Charlotte or Robin.

I thought the festival was in August. Does the donation sorting and setting up for the White Elephant start this early?
I think your computer may have an incorrect date, look at the date for this blog? Are we going to have to read this for the next 6 months?

Good catch! I was wondering why this blog wasn't going away--with an October 2008 date we are going to be seeing it for a long time.
Yes, it takes five weeks of 2 shifts to sort the donations - it's tremendous physical work and many hours - we needed help - that's why the post!
